A group therapy lecture that introduces and integrates concepts from cognitive therapy and Viktor Frankl's existential logotherapy.
According to Dr. Viktor E. Frankl, nothing exists that can make us happy. Instead, happiness is the result of reasons to be happy. Frankl devised three categories of reasons to be happy. These are the creative value (a sense of accomplishment from what we create), the experiential value (the personal meanings of art, nature, and relationships), and the the attitudinal value (the attitudes we choose to take in life regardless of what happens to us).
