Description of Practice
"My theoretical orientation is existential and phenomenological, based primarily upon the work of Viktor Frankl. Cognitive-behavioral approaches, such as those developed by Albert Ellis, Aaron Beck and Donald Meichenbaum, are eclectically mixed within this overarching framework. I accept the Franklian concept of a will to meaning and believe that hard work is often necessary for meaning to be discovered. Hence, the goal of psychotherapy is to help create conditions where individual meaning may be realized through the development of thoughts and behaviors that favor it."
